Grading, Analysis & Laboratory Services

We perform physical, chemical, microbiological analyses via product-specific tests in our own labs and in a network of carefully selected third party laboratories around the world. Below are the principle determinations we evaluate for each major product grouping we service.

Sugar:

We test for polarization, moisture, ash, color, dextran, grain size, insoluble matter, starch, invert, safety, bacteriological and biological tests.

Molasses:

We test for brix, sucrose and reducing sugars.

Ethanol:

All of our tests are in accordance with the International Ethanol Trade Associations (IETHA) hydrous ethanol and un-denatured anyhydrous fuel ethanol specifications.

Grains:

We test for weight, moisture, damaged kernels, fungus, aflatoxin, metal contaminants, mold, salmonella, fumosinina, zearoleona, and vomitoxin.

Oils & Fats:

We test for free fatty acids, FAC color, M.I.U. titer, peroxide value, bacteriological tests, moisture, iodine value, linolenic acid, metals tests, and lovibond color.
